Web site localization

A good web site that aims at being visited by an international audience, be it in the business, tourism, advertising or informative field, needs to be translated in as many languages as possible.

My course was also the occasion for me to tame html markers and to learn how not to get lost in the code pages of a web site. This kind of translation can involve a lot of different types of documents (images, html and pdf pages, ...) and requires both good computering skills and concision in writing. Indeed, French is often longer than English and one does not want a web page length to be doubled in the localizing process.
