Literary translation

Literary translator is a difficult job that requires a lot of sensitivity, a very good knowledge of the source language and an excellent mastery of the target language.

My mother tongue is French and I have been making literary studies for several years now. I love to read, I love to write and play with words in order to translate and reproduce the author's intentions. I would thus be more than happy to be given your works to translate and to be granted your confidence. Give me a chance to know you through your words and our encounter shall finally grant thm with the resonance of French, the humble representative of which I am.

I understand that it can be difficult to let a wok go to someone else. That is precisely why I would comply to translate an excerpt from your writings to be ensured of our mutual understanding.

If you feel like it, be welcome to have a look at my translation of a Scottish poem.
