Keele enjoys excellent communication links for all types of travel. The village is situated three miles west of Newcastle-under-Lyme on the A525 road to Whitchurch, Nantwich and Crewe.
Keele is approximately 10 minutes drive from the M6 motorway.
The nearest railway stations are Stoke-on-Trent (five miles) and Crewe (fourteen miles). There is a taxi rank outside each station and typically the journey takes 15-20 minutes from Stoke Station and 20-25 minutes from Crewe Station.
From Newcastle-under-Lyme: Take the A525 to Crewe, Nantwich & Whitchurch. After passing Keele Golf Course turn left at the sign to Keele Village. Take the first turning right, just before The Sneyd Arms, and the pedestrian entrance is immediately on the right. If driving then continue and take the next turning on the right (Church Bank). Immediately after the first house on the right turn right into a short access road that leads to The Old School.
From the North: Follow the A525 to Newcastle-under-Lyme. After coming through Madeley and passing under an old railway bridge turn right at the sign to Keele Village. Turn left immediately after The Sneyd Arms and the pedestrian entrance is immediately on the right. If driving then continue and take the next turning on the right (Church Bank). From Whitmore: As you enter Keele The Old School is facing you. Cross the main road taking the road between The Old School and The Sneyd Arms. The pedestrian entrance is immediately on the right.
